Ken Hausman
Managing Director

Mr. Hausman is a Managing Director of Mirador Capital. Prior to founding Mirador Capital , he served as a Managing Director of Osprey Ventures, a $93M venture capital fund. Mr. Hausman is also co-founder and Managing Director of Mentor Venture Partners, an early stage venture investment partnership. Mr. Hausman has been active in the software and information processing industry since the early 1980s.

Prior to Mentor Venture Partners, Mr. Hausman worked with The NASDAQ Stock Market and served on their President's Advisory Board from 1998 to 2002.

Mr. Hausman previously worked at Ingres Corporation where he held a variety of positions in engineering and support, including serving as senior manager of the Open Systems Group and, as required, acting as Vice President of Engineering. Prior to Ingres, Gene Kleiner hired Mr. Hausman as the first full-time employee of ReSound Corporation (NASDAQ:RSND). At ReSound, major actions included developing marketing strategy, product specifications and schedules, completing business plans, raising several million dollars through several financing rounds, negotiating technology agreements and fulfilling the functions of the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to ReSound, Mr. Hausman spent five years at Hewlett-Packard in sales and marketing positions.

Mr. Hausman has B.A. degrees in Economics and Human Biology from Stanford University and a M.B.A. from U.C.L.A.

Mr. Hausman is also a past President of The Churchill Club, is a TIE charter member and a member of the Board of Governors of the Commonwealth Club and a former member of the board of the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA). He is also a board member of the Northern California Kidney Foundation and The Boys and Girls Club, and has served on the advisory boards of Garage Technology Ventures and Viador, Inc (NASDAQ:VIAD). He is a past board observer of MarketWire, an investee of Sequoia Capital, and is a founding advisor to UCLA's Wireless Internet for Mobile Enterprise Consortium.
